Lyn Hill Taylor is a native of New Orleans and Covington resident for fifty years.
Education: Auburn University (Fine Arts-Painting) and The Art Students' League in New York City.
A life-long student and practitioner of drawing, painting and printmaking. A fervent researcher into the art of painting and the creative life led to her da Vinci's Treatise on Painting and the ten year formulation of the Abbey Art Works Signature Program: "Leonardo's Legacy: Painting, Science & the Life of the Soul."
She founded Abbey Art Works in 2009 with the support of Abbot Justin Brown, O.S.B. to promote painting as a contemplative act which is simply good for the soul.
